About Me

Hello, I’m Kevlyn Kadamala.

I am a fourth-year PhD Student at the University of Galway, funded by the Research Ireland - Centre for Research Training in Artificial Intelligence (CRT AI), where I am supervised by Dr Enda Barrett.

I am working on optimising building HVAC control systems and problems using deep reinforcement learning.

I have keen interests in reinforcement learning, and evolutionary computation. But I have also worked in other domains of AI like - machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and optimisation.

Apart from work, I like playing football, running (any sort of physical activity, really), reading, and discovering new music. Since 2006 I’ve spent most of my time worrying about Arsenal.
